A synthesis focuses on the key lessons to be learned from these case studies, analyses the strenghts and weaknesses of these areas in achieving conservation goals, identifies key gaps in knowledge, an presents a glimpse of further work needed.<\/p>\n<p>The book was presented at the IUCN World Conservation Congress, Barcelona, 2008.
