It is commonly used during the time of Lent, especially Good Friday, in the Catholic Church. The purpose of the stations is to make a spiritual pilgrimage, through prayer and meditation on certain scenes of the sufferings and death of Jesus. In the mid-1980s, in the Philippines, Columban Father Vincent Busch developed a series of &#8220;Forest Stations&#8221; using the popular format of the Stations of the Cross, to mourn the stages of one&#8217;s death of God&#8217;s Creation, the tropical forests where the Subanan indigenous are living, Philippines. This short documentary explains this initiative very well.
