For a land as diverse as India, this is only a first contribution in this direction. The book is organized into five thematic sections: livelihoods, wise use, faith and spirituality, traditional knowledge and nature conservation. With the common thread of culture (in the broadest sense of the word) and wetlands, these sections are not mutually exclusive. Concepts are mixed between sections and only the focus moves, emphasizing the importance of all these dimensions in wetland management. The book has benefited from new Internet commons, such as open source and Creative Commons photo data.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
This book is a collective effort to document some of the cultural practices associated with wetlands in India….<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":7,"featured_media":119491,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[105,121],"tags":[297,246,301,361],"class_list":["post-119495","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-documentation-centre","category-information-and-sensitization","tag-cultural-values","tag-local-communities","tag-spiritual-values","tag-traditional-knowledge","has-post-title","has-post-date","has-post-category","has-post-tag","has-post-comment","has-post-author",""],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.silene.ong\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/119495","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.silene.ong\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.silene.ong\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.silene.ong\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/7"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.silene.ong\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=119495"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/www.silene.ong\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/119495\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":119496,"href":"https:\/\/www.silene.ong\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/119495\/revisions\/119496"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.silene.ong\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/119491"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.silene.ong\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=119495"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.silene.ong\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=119495"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.silene.ong\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=119495"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
