These events bring together all the studies, works and workshops that were presented throughout the First Conference on Cloister Gardens that the Museum of the Royal Monastery of Santa Maria de Pedralbes, Barcelona, Catalonia, organized and hosted on November 24 and 25, 2022.\u00a0 The purpose of these conferences was to contribute to creating and spreading awareness about the values \u200b\u200bthat these unique spaces treasure, with a comprehensive, historical and contemporary vision at the same time, in order to interest the people and entities that have responsibilities in improving the quality of their interventions and activities, so that the cloisters can continue to welcome proposals that respond to the needs of today’s society and provide appropriate responses, in a way that is consistent with their vocation and raison d’\u00eatre.<\/p>\n
