On 5, 6 and 7 October, the 2nd Nature Conservation Congress, organised by the Xarxa per a la Conservaci\u00f3 de la Natura (XCN), will be held at Jou Nature, in Guardiola de Bergued\u00e0, Catalan Pyrenees. The congress will bring together professionals, organisations, public administrations, research centres and others interested in nature conservation from Catalonia<\/p>\n

Silene\u2019s participation, by Xavier Perarnau, will highlight the importance of cultural and spiritual values of nature in conservation processes and, in particular, their potential to strengthen nature stewardship, one of the XCN\u2019s areas of work.\u00a0 This participation forms part of Silene\u2019s ongoing work on the study and dissemination of cultural and spiritual values of nature and their application to nature conservation. The congress will combine presentations, debates, networking sessions, short communications and a field visit to the Cad\u00ed-Moixer\u00f3 Natural Park.<\/p>\n
