Written in a serious and clear style, these volumes cover a large number of interdisciplinary fields and include over 1000 contributions from more than 530 authors. Each entry is accompanied by an expert article and by text written by other investigators who have carried out significant research in the field. The introduction includes an overview of the subjects of religion and nature, the different factors that led to the writing of this encyclopaedia, comments on the most important entries, and speculation regarding the future of the relationship between nature and religion.
