To summarise, the contributions declare that ecological reform and a reorientation towards greater eco-justice are key items on any Christian ecumenical agenda. The authors, mainly linked to Protestant churches, explore the main problems that have led to an abuse or neglect of the environment and offer constructive ways for socially and ecologically fairer and more responsible lives. This work contains thirty articles and their respective replies and commentaries, as well as an introduction to this particular volume and the collection as a whole, and a number of final conclusions.
