The inventory was based on the concept of intagible cultural heritage defined by the <a href=\"https:\/\/ich.unesco.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Convention<\/a> adopted in 2003. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"tw-data-text tw-ta tw-text-small\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Traducci\u00f3\"><span lang=\"en\" tabindex=\"0\">The inventory was prepared from field work carried out for one year by a team of three people (an anthropologist, an historian and an environmentalist) who visited the natural park, talking with more than a hundred people and participating in many of the activities carried out there. By 2013, the methodology and the results obtained in this Inventory were recognized as a &#8216;best practice&#8217; by UNESCO. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"tw-data-text tw-ta tw-text-small\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Traducci\u00f3\"><span lang=\"en\" tabindex=\"0\">On<a href=\"https:\/\/parcs.diba.cat\/web\/el-patrimoni-cultural-immaterial-del-montseny\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> this website<\/a> you can discover the oral traditions, festivals, crafts, customs and all the rest of the intangible cultural heritage that has been identified so far in Montseny. And you can also directly participate in this inventory, since it will be updated periodically.
