The first part contains the key-note papers by Vladimir Serrano and Jos\u00e9 Ignacio Vara, as well as four short articles, translated from the book &#8220;<em>Die Erde bewahren<\/em>&#8220;, the result of another meeting of Christians in D\u00fcsseldorf, Germany, held in 1985.\u00a0 The second part is dedicated to the pastoral care of ecology, with articles by Alfons Messner and Juan Palomino. The third part is devoted to religions and ecology, with contributions from Mahmoud Samandari and Gunther Reck. The fourth part addresses the issue of women and ecology, with presentations by Nelsa Curvelo, Ximena Costales, Cecilia Ch\u00e9rrez and Rub\u00e9n D\u00edaz.
