Identifica los lugares sagrados, documenta su estado, explora su importancia como patrimonio natural y cultural, identifica las amenazas y presiones que en algunos casos sufren, y propone medidas de protecci\u00f3n. En el territorio yamal-nenet se identificaron 263 lugares sagrados, mientras que en el territorio koryah se identificaron 84 lugares sagrados. Cabe destacar la \u00edntima relaci\u00f3n que existe entre los lugares sagrados y las formas de vida tradicionales; no s\u00f3lo por el hecho que estos se encuentren en las rutas migratorias, en \u00e1reas de pasto o en lugares de pesca, sino porque el uso, mantenimiento y protecci\u00f3n de estos lugares sagrados depende de formas de vida saludables.
