Es el n\u00famero cuatro de una colecci\u00f3n de libros que muestra la experiencia de la provincia de Alberta (Canad\u00e1) sobre la energ\u00eda, la ecolog\u00eda y el medio ambiente. Los art\u00edculos que contiene han sido escritos por gestores, bi\u00f3logos, investigadores y cient\u00edficos de parques naturales y \u00e1reas protegidas fronterizas de diferentes partes del mundo: Canad\u00e1, Australia, Francia, M\u00e9xico, Per\u00fa, Bolivia y \u00c1frica.
