Silene at the conference on the contribution of green infrastructure to the urban water cycle

The Spanish Association of Public Parks and Gardens has organized a conference dedicated to the contribution of green infrastructure to the urban water cycle, within the framework of IBERFLORA, the great annual fair of parks and gardens in Valencia, on October 15. Josep Maria Mallarach, on behalf of the Silene Association, presented a reflection on the challenges and implications of moving from the utilitarian consideration of water (water-resource) to the recognition of its intrinsic values ​​(water-life), and the duty we have to maintain it in good condition for future generations, ending with some of the key ideas of the declaration “Water is life that Silene issued in 2024.
