Silene’s allegation to the Natural Park Muntanyes de Prades, Poblet and Serra de la Llena

The Silene Association has submitted an allegation so that the intangible heritage and its values ​​are duly treated in the Decree and the Plan for the Protection of the Natural Environment and Landscape of the Natural Park of the Prades, Poblet and Serra de la Llena Mountains, Catalonia, which is for public information now. Silene’s contribution covers the draft decree, the report, the planning and management guidelines and the regulations of the Plan for the Protection of the Natural Environment and Landscape, with the aim of encouraging and facilitating the due integration of the values ​​of the intangible cultural, religious and spiritual heritage in a transversal way: From the prehistoric sanctuaries, or the great medieval monastery of Santa Maria de Poblet, to the modest sanctuaries and hermitages scattered throughout the mountain, or the facilities that have been organizing contemplative and meditative activities in this unique protected natural space for the last decades.
