Silene to participate in an international geoethics seminar in Assisi

From 16 to 18 November 2026, the international seminar Geoethics and Global Ethics in a Time of Polycrisis: Comparative Perspectives on Human–Earth Relations will take place in Assisi, Italy. Organised within the framework of the CIPSH International Academy on Chinese Culture and Global Humanities 2026, the seminar is promoted by the International Association for Promoting Geoethics (IAPG), the CIPSH Chair on Geoethics, with the participation of other international institutions involved in geoethics and geosciences.

The meeting will bring together specialists from different disciplines and cultural traditions to reflect on human–Earth relations in the context of the global polycrisis. Francesc Bellaubí, a member of the Silene team, will participate with a presentation entitled Religion, geosciences and techno-culture: the case of Silene Association (Catalonia, Spain), in which he will present Silene’s contribution to geoethics over its twenty-year history.
