Louis Bouyer

Cosmos. Le monde et la gloire de Dieu1982

The Scripture itself teaches us to rediscover this angelic activity behind the visible cosmos, as it gives us the deepest meaning: that all things created are in the service of God. It is then that we recognize in the visible world a first and fundamental revelation of God. It imposes on us this certainty that we are not, in this world, the only spirits, and that we are not, ans we cannot, become masters of it, as our technology become aberrant, delusional, would tend to convince us.
