3rd International Conference: Philosophies, Education, and Ethics for Biocultural Conservation
Puerto Williams, Chile 12-15 May 2025
The Cape Horn International Center (CHIC) proposes a reflection that articulates inter- and transdisciplinary knowledge and questions, bringing together ecology, social sciences, education, humanities, and local knowledge. To address these aspects in depth, it will organize its Third International Conference: “Philosophies, Education, and Ethics for Biocultural Conservation” in Puerto Williams (Chile) from May 12-15, 2025. The southernmost city in the world will be the meeting place for sharing experiences and research that provide theoretical and practical reflections, mobilizing paradigms and imaginaries, and thus advancing biocultural conservation. On behalf of the Silene Association, Xavier Perarnau will participate and give an oral presentation entitled: “Ecosophy for Biocultural Preservation. Confluence of Visions and a Collaborative Proposal from Silene.”
