Presenting the project ‘Recupera Teno’, island of Tenerife

On February 5, the Recupera Teno project was publicly presented, an initiative of the Cabildo Insular de Tenerife, with the collaboration of the Town Councils of Los Silos, Buenavista del Norte and El Tanque. A project that aims to bring together knowledge and good practices related to the Teno Rural Park and the Isla Baja region, accompany educational processes and energize communities, entities and individuals to promote participation and collaboration with the aim of recovering the integral heritage and developing sustainable actions. The Teno Rural Park, with a surface area of more than 8000 ha, is located in the northwest of the island of Tenerife, Canary Islands. It hosts a huge amount of values of scientific, landscape, ethnographic and historical interest, the latter linked to the architectural heritage, archaeological sites and ancestral ecological traditions and knowledge that are preserved in the region.
