La ecología en una perspectiva teológico franciscana
The first part of the article discusses the plurality of theology in relation to ecology, i.e., different readings of the same theological reality can exist. Three types are discussed: anthropocentric, bio-centric and social-dialectical. All three operate with the same components: God, Creation and the human being, but from different points of view that give rise to different ethical positions. The author insists that the ecological crisis hides ethical, socio-economic and political crises, as well as a crisis of values, that have all been generated by both national and international injustices. Technology is also part of the ecological crisis and is the immediate cause of environmental degradation. Finally, the author talks of the Franciscan aim to strive for different ecological practices and goes on to discuss the example of St. Francis of Assisi in the proclamation of the mystery of human spirit, the denouncing of unlawful practices, the value of the differences that make each being unique, helping to solve conflicts, recalling fundamental values, looking for alternative solutions, and announcing the possibility of new relationships, etc.
