Sistema Educativo Indígena Propio de ASATRIZY

This document is the written synthesis of the model of traditional education and training that its authors wish to continue developing in their communities. It is based on the ‘Plan de Vida ASATRIZY’, a community produced strategic plan, department of Valués, Colombia, and the goal of ensuring the transmission of their culture, because they want to remain Indigenous Peoples in the 21st century. We revisit the ASATRIZY ethno-educational project developed as a community in 2009, and which, for many reasons, was not fully realized as they hoped. Now, with the support of partner institutions, they present this new document as the guide that was agreed upon with their Kumuã Yoamarã sages.
