Simbiosis Fluvial

Simbiosi Fluvial is a four-year collaborative project (2024-27) dedicated to regenerating ecological, social and economic links with the Fluvià River, Catalonia. It focuses on the restoration of habitats and species threatened with extinction that are outside protected natural areas of the basin. It is promoted by four organizations committed to the renaturalization and stewardship of the Fluvià’s basin: Resilience Earth, Associació Naturalista i Ecologista de la Garrotxa, Associació Hàbitats and Silene, with the collaboration of many others, both public and private. Silene’s contribution is aiming at the intangible heritage and its cultural and spiritual values. It is deployed in multiple activities: workshops, conferences, contemplative walks, etc., some of which are published in the News of this website.
